Are you an Introvert or Extrovert?

A common question asked when you meet a new person or a group of people. Guardian is an artwork that expresses the nature of oneself to be willing to adapt and forced to concede to the societal norms and expectations.

The shield represents the cover of the state of mind, protecting one from the demands of selecting one’s nature. The horse represents energy and resilience. The flowers and butterflies represent vulnerability. The apple represents exposure and taste & preferences. The mask on the wall represents adaptable resilience and pretense. Plain paper represents openness.

The mountain behind represents Mount Fuji, the cultural icon of Japan. The current kanji for Mount Fuji, 富 and 士, mean “wealth” or “abundant” and “man of status” respectively. Volcano eruptions hold a deep spiritual symbolism, often signifying spiritual awakening and enlightenment. When a volcano erupts, it releases a tremendous amount of energy and power, mirroring the transformative journey of the soul. The eruption acts as a catalyst, pushing us to confront our innermost fears and limitations.

The patterned tiles represent repetition of societal norms. The closed door represents restricted or the secretive nature of oneself.
